Reviews
We both got the wings, they were fantastic. Our waitress was great. Another awesome note is another waiter who wasn’t even ours came by and took up a lot of time with our son who was getting a little restless. Turns out they have the same name. Thomas is an awesome waiter and deserves all the praise. He even gave our Thomas dessert and home-made him whip cream. I’ve never seen a waiter who wasn’t assigned to our table go so above and beyond. If you go there please request him and tip him well! He deserves it
We were staying across the street at the Bleckleyin and had just come from dropping our freshman daughter off at Clemson. We were exhausted and stressed out and just wanted to eat in our room but didn’t want fast food. We placed a take-out order and I was so tired that I couldn’t figure out how to order an extra baked potato so the manager assisted me when I called the restaurant and was so kind and helpful. We ordered a salmon salad and a salmon dinner with a side order of comfort food in the way of an additional baked potato, and some macaroni and cheese. The baked potatoes were fabulous and crusted with salt just the way they should be! Also, something notable was that they put the salmon for the salad in a separate container. Not all restaurants take the time to do this and it is really appreciated because by the time you eat the salad when you get take out, the whole salad is hot. So kudos to Raines for that. It really is the little things. The macaroni and cheese was awesome and so cheesy and really made us feel a little better. I don’t know what their secret is but it is very good! I would love to come back and go to this restaurant another time when we can sit inside and eat. Highly recommend this place!
Staff is friendly and helpful, Food is good. Fried mushrooms and the shrimp jammers are really yummy. Spacious and fun decor.
The ribeye was full of salt, the slaw was terrible, the wait was too long, the potatoes were cold, the pot roast was decent but overall the food wasn’t worth the wait. Spring mix in my opinion doesn’t make a good salad. But this is only my opinion.
So this evening my wife and I decided to try out Raines on Main . It was wonderful. The food was so good. We had a sampler appetizer with Mushrooms, pickles, shrimp popers ( like an jalapeño popers but with shrimp instead of jalapeños. And OMG awesome) and egg rolls. It was all really good . Then Jennifer got the blacken Mahi and I had the Porterhouse Pork and they both was just out of this world good. The food was well worth the price and actually very cheap for what we had. Most everything is $12 or lower. If you haven't been there it's a must go in Anderson.
First time there. We went for lunch. Servings were large and still hot when served. Food was good. Our hostess was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was clean and rustic.
Just love this place, and have been several times. Food is great, and a great value, employees are super friendly, and there are a couple of FREE pool tables if u just want to wind down w drinks. I really enjoy coming here, and have referred friends as well. Try the Pot Roast Melt, u'll never find another one, and it ROCKS! Love, love, love Raines (my go to in Anderson).
This was just the Best! Our 1st time and we all enjoyed it. The kids liked it so much we went back 2 more times in just our 2 day stay in Anderson. Staff is friendly, service is fast, and food is delicious! Especially the burgers and fries! The wings however are very small, they did taste good tho! We will most definitely be back! The kids were disappointed they are closed on Sunday's.
